Will this actually stay oversized after I wash it?
That's the whole reason it's built the way it is. The fleece is pre-shrunk and garment dyed at the factory, before it's ever cut, so the fit you try on is the fit it stays at. Normal cold or warm machine wash is fine.
Should I size up or down?
Order your true size for a roomy, true oversized fit. If you'd rather it sit a little closer to the body, most people size down one from what they'd order in a regular fitted hoodie.
What's it made of?
A heavyweight brushed fleece, garment dyed in a mineral wash finish with a dropped shoulder, kangaroo pocket and ribbed cuffs and hem.
Will the color fade or rub off on other clothes?
No. The wash is dyed into the fleece itself before the hoodie is cut and sewn, not sprayed on top afterward, so it won't crock or transfer the way a surface-treated wash can.
Is the color exactly like the photos?
Close, with natural variation. A mineral wash finish is applied individually to each garment, so no two hoodies fade in exactly the same pattern. That's part of the vintage wash look, not a defect.
